I’m sure you know toxic people and maybe even some that are like the Corpse flower. You know, that rare plant that only blooms every 7-10 years, and when it does, it smells like rotting flesh. The fragrance of it and people like it is far from sweet.

A most excellent and needed teaching on offering a daily sacrifice unto the Lord. From the time we open our eyes in the morning to the closing of our eyes in the evening we find ourselves surrounded and overwhelmed with the cares of the world and our own personal cares. It has become too easy to become distracted and our priorities misaligned with what is right in the eyes of the Lord. As we move towards the return of our Lord let us focus and direct our attention on Him.
